A teenager has suffered a laceration to the head after he was struck by a glass bottle in a brawl in Manly overnight.
NSW Police were called to West Esplanade, Manly, following reports of a brawl involving 20 people shortly after 10pm.
When officers from Northern Beaches Local Area Command attended the scene it is understood they found a 16-year-old boy who had suffered a two-centimetre laceration to the head.
It is believed the boy's injury was caused by a glass bottle. After emergency services attended the scene, the teenager was taken to Manly Hospital for further treatment.
Police have been told that the 16-year-old and his friends were confronted by a group of around 20 unknown people, before the brawl broke out.
A crime scene was established and police are continuing inquiries.
