Police in the Pilbara have released disturbing video footage of a truck which was swept off the road by flood waters.
The video, on the Marble Bar Police Twitter page, shows fast flowing water across Ripon Hills Road 130km east of the remote town.
The video shows that the force of the flood waters has flattened trees on either side of the road.
As the video pans to the left the remains of the truck's cab can be seen where it has been washed off the road and come to rest against some trees.
