Capital punishment in Guatemala

Capital punishment is a legal penalty in Guatemala.
As of June 2016, five executions had been carried out since 1983; all were broadcast live on television. The current President of Guatemala Since 14 January 2016 Jimmy Morales supports the death penalty.
