WA Police have been forced to call in a cherry picker in order to remove a tree protester from the Beeliar Wetlands Roe 8 site.
Police continued the removal of protesters from the site on Wednesday morning including a woman named Claire who had been tree-sitting at the site since Monday.
Police made two attempts to remove the woman from the tree but the operation allegedly culminated in her arrest.
"[It was] so brave... there was a lot of cheering for her," the witness said.
