How Donald Trump's policies could boost Australia's education exports

The last time the US put up the shutters on its borders, after the 9/11 terror attacks in 2001, the number of international students in the US, which had been growing steadily since the 1950s, went into a three-year decline.
Students found it harder to get a visa, foreigners had a tougher time at airport immigration desks and students from other cultures – particularly those of Muslim background – found themselves under suspicion.
