Braless Katie McGlynn looks worlds away from her Corrie character as she flaunts her cleavage in VERY plunging trouser suit during night out

She plays frumpy factory worker Sinead Tinker on the cobbles of Coronation Street.

But Katie McGlyyn was worlds away from her onscreen character on Saturday night, as she showed off an altogether more glamorous side during dinner at Australasia restaurant in Manchester.

The 21-year-old actress, who lost a stone last year, teased more than a hint of her cleavage as she went braless beneath a plunging black blazer.

Who's that girl? Katie McGlynn, 21, showed off an altogether more glamorous side as she stepped out for dinner at Australasia restuarant in Manchester on Saturday night

The blonde beauty paired her revealing jacket with slimline black tapered trousers.

Wearing her golden tresses in a sleek straight style, she framed her eyes with lashings of mascara and smokey shadow.

Katie injected a dose of sparkle to the monochrome look with a silver clutch and added height with some simple black stilettos.

Clearly taking inspiration from her pal Catherine Tyldesley, who lost a staggering two stone, Katie is now sporting a much more slimmer frame herself.

Catherine shared her dieting and and workout secrets with the blonde bombshell, helping her lose a stone in weight.

She had been giving advice on a strict fitness regime and suggesting a diet of vegetables, lean meats and brown rice.

A friend of Katie told The Sun: 'Katie was really unsure about how to train and what foods to eat.

'Cath has really sorted her out with some sound advice coupled with some evil work outs. It has taken a while but she has lost a stone and looks super-fit now.

'Kate is really pleased with the results but she loves her nights with food and drink so she still makes sure she has a blow-out now and again.

Indeed the actress admitted on Twitter late last year: 'Not in the best state but it's true that training does actually help your hangover!'

No doubt Katie is pleased with her new look, as her Instagram account is littered with body-confident snaps in skimpy outfits.

Meanwhile, Catherine revealed in a candid interview that before her dramatic weight loss, she was size 22 at her heaviest aged 18.

She told the Sunday People: 'I cant tell you how much happier I am now. It sounds a cliche but I was always the loud jolly one. The fat cheery one.

'I can go out in clothes that I would never wear back then. I used to wear baggy stuff. Now I can wear fitted, sexy clothes.'

What are friends for? Katie enlisted the help of her Corrie co-star Catherine Tyldesley, who shed a staggering two stone, to snap into shape
