Since October 2014, Kesha has been tied up in a legal battle with Dr. Luke, who is also the founder of her label, Kemosabe, in which she alleged that he sexually assaulted her - a claim he denied and fired back with his own defamation suit.

In a civil suit in California, she claimed that among other abuse, he once raped her, and he retaliated by suing her and her mother, Pebe Sebert, in New York for defamation and breach of contract.

Kesha's attempt to get a preliminary injunction against Dr. Luke and Sony Music failed last February. In an appeal, her legal team insisted her having to work for Sony was comparable to 'slavery.'

Bullying: She then explains: 'Those are a few things students posted about each other. It happens every day. And does anyone speak up?

Stop it: 'Saying nothing says everything,' she concludes. 'Speak up — Hack harassment.'

In April, however, a judge at the New York State Supreme Court dismissed Kesha's counterclaims against Dr. Luke for employment discrimination, gender-based hate crime and infliction of emotional distress.

In August, she dropped the case in the California court system, but the legal battle in New York is still ongoing.

Thsi week, Dr. Luke filed documents requesting a judge to add a defamation claim in his lawsuit against her after his team discovered she texted Lady Gaga claiming he raped another artist.

In documents obtained by DailyMail.com, Dr. Luke claims Kesha is on a 'malicious campaign to destroy' his reputation and career.
