The president was at his Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida when the legal mayhem erupted and seemed furious his celebratory weekend was interrupted by the ruling as demonstrators protested him nearby in Palm Beach.

Suspect interrogated in killing of Karina Vetrano

Police sources said Saturday they were interrogating a man in the slaying of 30-year-old Karina Vetrano (pictured), who was found raped and strangled in Spring Creek Park in August. Investigators have recovered DNA from Vetrano's remains, but the sample didn't match that of any convicted criminal in New York or around the country. It wasn't immediately clear how investigators had approached the suspect. Vetrano's family has advocated for familial DNA testing, which would allow them to potentially find a suspect's relative.

Shocking footage appearing to show a man drenched in blood forcing a crucifix down his throat has emerged online. The disturbing video posted on YouTube is believed to have been filmed in South America and shows the man convulsing in a chair grunting in demonic tones. Blood is splattered on his chest while he is surrounded by topless men who seem to egg him on while a drumbeat builds to a crescendo in the background. The man is sprayed with water as he speaks in  tongues and bangs his feet on the ground.

LEBANON TWP. - A Warren County man has been identified as the victim of a fatal accident that happened on Thursday. 

Hayden Balboa, 24, of Washington Township, owner of Califon-based SMY Landscape Services, died from injuries suffered while operating a wood chipper at a residence on Musconetcong Road on Thursday afternoon, Hunterdon County Prosecutor Anthony P. Kearns, III said.

High Bridge Fire and Rescue and paramedics from Hunterdon Medical Center in Raritan Township responded, it was stated in a news release. The accident was investigated by the prosecutor's office and township police, Kearns and Police Chief Jack Gale said.

"This appears to be a tragic accident and our condolences go out to the family and friends of Mr. Balboa during this difficult time," Kearns said.

According to SMY Landscape Services' website and Facebook page, the company started in 2008. Balboa is listed as a 2010 graduate of Voorhees High School in Glen Gardner, according to NJ Advance Media archives

Wildlife photographer captures crocodiles in Mexico

Wildlife photographer Chris Knight traveled to the village of Xcalak on Mexico's Caribbean Coast, near Belize. He took photos of the crocodiles on a 'sweet-spot' shallow enough for them to stand in but deep enough to find prey. He first spent a few days diving in the area and learning about crocodiles before thinking about his camera settings. He then proceeded to capture his stunning shots.

Neglected dog with a mop of dirty matted gets a hair cut

A neglected dog whose matted ball of dirty fur made her breed unidentifiable has had a haircut and given a name as the RSPCA launch an investigation into how she ended up resembling a 'dirty mop'. The tiny shih tzu has been named Rosie and was handed into a veterinary practice in Bury after she was found by a member of the public. In addition to her overgrown coat her flesh was covered in deep wounds and her skin was bleeding. Rosie is thought to be aged between three and six-years-old, had no microchip or ID tag when she was handed in to vets.
