'It might be a lot of pressure for her': Cindy Crawford worries her daughter Kaia Gerber, 15, will not find the same success in the modelling world she did

She was one of the most famous supermodels of the '90s.

And Cindy Crawford fears her daughter Kaia Gerber, 15, will feel pressure to achieve the same level of success she had at the height of her career.

The 50-year-old is set to arrive Down Under on Monday for the first time in 10 years, and gave a tell-all interview with Vogue Australia.

Speaking to the magazine, Cindy revealed her concerns for her teenage daughter as she launches a fashion modelling career.

'The only concern I have for her, and it isn't an issue, is that in the modelling world I hit the top and if she doesn't it might be a lot of pressure for her,' she said.

Cindy added: 'If you a have successful parent and you go into the same business but you're not successful then what?'

In the '90s, Cindy was known across the world for her statuesque height and her trademark beauty spot. 

At her career height, she appeared on the covers of Vogue, W, Elle, Harper's Bazaar and Cosmopolitan magazines.

She also walked for for designers such as Chanel, Versace, Valentino, Oscar De La Renta, Ralph Lauren and Calvin Klein.

This success also translated into endorsements for various cosmetic brands, such as Maybelline, and soft drink Pepsi.

She's back! Cindy returns to Australia for the first time in 10 years soon, coming to Sydney to open the newest boutique for watchmaker Omega in Martin Place

Meanwhile, Kaia is already making waves in the industry with runway shows for Marc Jacobs and appearances in Teen Vogue, Pop Magazine and Paris Vogue.

She also inherited her mother's photogenic features and long brunette locks. 

Cindy was briefly married actor Richard Gere in 1991, but they divorced in 1995.

In 1998, she married former model and American entertainment industry businessman Rande Gerber, who is Kaia's father.

Cindy quit full-time modeling in 2000 after having her son Presley in 1999 and Kaia in 2001.
