Zayn Malik teams smart suit with unkempt hair as he joins Rita Ora at Fifty Shades Darker premiere... after unveiling acoustic version of duet with Taylor Swift

He was seen shopping in LA with a mop of unkempt bed hair earlier this week.

And Zayn Malik appears to be preferring his longer and messier 'do as he maintained the style at the Fifty Shades Darker premiere on Thursday night. 

The singer, 24, looked as handsome as ever in a clean-cut checked suit, paired with his scruffier locks, as he cosied up to a glamorous Rita Ora at the star-studded event.

The Pillowtalk hitmaker looked incredibly dapper in his stylish grey suit, printed with a subtle checked pattern all over. 

Following the traditional suit style, his look was incredibly refined with its clean-cut lapels and perfectly tailored trousers - layered atop a crisp white shirt and matching tie. 

Adding smart patent loafers to his feet, the star, who is currently dating model Gigi Hadid, then maintained his signature cool style by leaving his hair long and ruffled.

Rita Ora attended the premiere of her new movie Fifty Shades Darker in LA and she made sure all eyes were on her when she wore a dress that was pulled from Giambattista Valli's Spring 2017 couture collection.

The floor length stunner was covered in a pastel floral print with a one-shoulder silhouette that was adorned with a dragonfly brooch. We love the dramatic ruffled high-low skirt with its sweeping train that showed off Rita's enviable pins.

The former One Direction star happily chatted to friend Rita Ora at the bash, who makes a cameo appearance in the new saucy flick.

The Hot Right Now songstress matched Zayn's smart style in an elegant ruffled down, which rose up to her thigh at the front to flash her toned and tanned pins. 

Posing with a hand on her hip, the singer looked more than comfortable as she rested her hand on his shoulder for a few snaps.

Zayn was of course in attendance at the premiere as he features on the movie soundtrack, with hit track I Don't Wanna Live Forever with Taylor Swift.  

Days after the music video for the duet was unveiled, the ex One Direction star sent fans into a frenzy on Friday morning with a stripped-back version of the song.

There was no sign of Taylor on the track or in the black and white video as Zayn sings his heart out in the recording studio.

The stripped-back track release comes days after the highly-anticipated video for his and Taylor Swift's hit song debuted online. 

In the passionate video, directed by Grant Singer, they traverse the St Pancras Renaissance London hotel before entering and smashing up one of its posh rooms.

One of the signature masks from Fifty Shades' adverts hangs from the front door of a hotel room occupied by Zayn, which Taylor enters and pours champagne before plucking white rose petals.

Then, the trashing begins: a plugged-in lamp pulled from its socket and hurled to the floor, mirrors smashed, pillows flung, various objects chucked hither and thither.

Released in December, the single was co-written by Taylor alongside Lena Dunham's boyfriend Jack Antonoff and LoveHate Thing scribe Sam Dew.
