A man and woman have died, while an expectant mother and toddler have been injured after two separate crashes in north Queensland.
The latest crash came on Saturday morning when a car towing a trailer left the Flinders Highway and rolled near Townsville about 7am.

The road was closed as a result, with a 59-year-old Kelso woman declared dead at the scene, but one lane reopened about two hours after the crash.
A pregnant woman in her mid-20s suffered minor cuts and no apparent injuries to the unborn child. A 20-year-old man also suffered minor cuts and a 2-year-old toddler was not injured
All three victims were taken to Charters Towers Hospital.

Meanwhile, a man died after also losing control of his vehicle and crashing into a tree near Cairns on Friday night.
A car was heading south along Madang Street in Trinity Beach just before midnight when it left the road and hit a tree at the intersection with Moresby Street.
The driver, a 48-year-old local man, was declared dead at the scene.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating both incidents.
