William Royce Scaggs (known professionally as Boz Scaggs; born June 8, 1944) is an American singer, songwriter, and guitarist. He gained fame in the 1960s as a guitarist and one-time lead singer with the Steve Miller Band, and in the 1970s with several solo Top 20 hit singles in the United States, including the hits "Lowdown" and "Lido Shuffle" from the critically acclaimed album Silk Degrees (1976), which peaked at #2 on the Billboard 200. Scaggs continues to write, record music, and tour.
Scaggs was born in Canton, Ohio, the son of a traveling salesman. The family moved to McAlester, Oklahoma, then to Plano, Texas (at that time a farm town), just north of Dallas. He attended a Dallas private school, St. Mark's School of Texas, where schoolmate Mal Buckner gave him the nickname "Bosley", later shortened to "Boz".
After learning guitar at the age of 12, he met Steve Miller at St. Mark's School. In 1959, he became the vocalist for Miller's band, the Marksmen. The pair later attended the University of Wisconsin–Madison together, playing in blues bands like the Ardells and the Fabulous Knight Trains.
"Lido Shuffle" is a song written by Boz Scaggs and David Paich and introduced on the 1976 Boz Scaggs album, Silk Degrees.
Scaggs recalled: "'Lido [Shuffle]' was a song that I'd been banging around. I...took the idea of the shuffle [from] a song that Fats Domino did called 'The Fat Man' that had a kind of driving shuffle beat that I used to play on the piano, and I just started kind of singing along with it. Then I showed it to Paich and he helped me fill it out. It ended up being 'Lido Shuffle'."
Members of the backup band on "Lido Shuffle" include David Paich, who later went on to form Toto.
Released as the album's fourth single, "Lido Shuffle" reached #11 US and #13 in the UK Singles Chart. In Australia the track spent three weeks at #2 as a double A-side hit with "What Can I Say".
"Look What You've Done" is the third single (fourth in the US) by the Australian rock band Jet, from their 2003 album Get Born.
The single was released in 2004 worldwide, and in 2005 in the US (#37).
The single is their highest charting single in Australia peaking at 14 on the ARIA Singles Chart. It was also a hit in Latin America, where it was played several times in radio and television, making it the biggest Jet hit there. The song was ranked #24 on Triple J's Hottest 100 of 2004.
It was included in the soundtrack of the 2005 romantic drama A Lot Like Love, starring Ashton Kutcher and Amanda Peet.
Two music videos were made for the song: One was of the band playing in a land with animated creatures; the other video had band members playing in a white room, surrounded by photos of themselves.

Boz Scaggs' latest album A Fool to Care reached number one on the Billboard Blues Chart. SF Gate article: There was a time when Boz Scaggs would really sweat over the details of making an album — when he would agonize over every last note, melody or cowbell clang. Not anymore. The longtime Bay Area resident has finally learned the fine art of letting go. In 2013, he released “Memphis,” which came after five years of touring — an album he recorded in less than a week with a group of world-class studio musicians in Tennessee. He repeats the trick with his latest, “A Fool to Care,” for which he relocated to Nashville’s Bluebird Studio with the same band — guitarist Ray Parker Jr., bassist Willie Weeks, keyboardist Jim Cox and producer-drummer Steve Jordan — and the same do-or-die attitude....

Tonight, I'm joined by singer-guitarist Boz Scaggs, whose new album, A Fool to Care, hit #1 on the Billboard Blues Chart. With a music career spanning five decades, Boz Scaggs has produced a rich catalog of songs that stretches across multiple genres. His 1976 breakthrough album, Silk Degrees, went multi-platinum and spawned a number of hits including "Lido Shuffle" and the GRAMMY-winning "Lowdown." She bathes herself
In sweet perfume
She helps herself
To all the room she can muster
She's a flustered thing
Oh my, my,, my...
She's my baby
She's my baby, yeah yeah yeah
Yeah yeah
She wears her rouge
Like a summer day
She wears her perfume
Oh, what a way, yeah
She's a flustered thing
Oh my, my, my...
She's my baby
She's my baby
Yeah yeah yeah
She wears her rouge
Like a summer day, yeah
She wears her perfume
But it all goes away, yeah
I feel sorry
She could go so far
Through her weird desire
She's got everything
And what's in-between
She's my baby
She's my baby, yeah yeah yeah
Woo hoo hoooo
