Minor Flood Warning for Katherine River Gorge Road

Flood Warning Number: 2

Catchments in the Katherine River have received over 100mm in the past 48 hours
from monsoonal conditions across the Top End. River levels in the lower
Katherine river are rising in response to recent rainfall.

Katherine River Gorge Road:
Minor flooding may occur along Katherine River Gorge Road.

The Katherine River at Nitmiluk Centre is currently at 2.59 metres and steady.
The Katherine River at Nitmiluk Centre may approach the minor flood level for
Katherine River Gorge Road (3.00 m) during Sunday.
