Ruff day? Downcast Rooney Mara steps out in all black with her pup following two successful Sundance premieres
She just returned from the prestigious Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah after premiering two films.
But Rooney Mara didn't look especially pleased when she stepped out with her small dog on Saturday in Los Angeles.
The 31-year-old Carol actress was covered head to toe thanks in part to a unique black knit sweater complete with oversize tie-ups.

That appeared to be layered over a long-sleeve beige garment.
On the bottom the two-time Oscar-nominated actress opted for a pair of black skinny jeans and some slate grey high-top sneakers with white soles.
Accessories included a very large black tote slung over her left shoulder and some wayfarer-style shades.
She also carried her phone in her right hand.

Her dark raven locks were scraped back into a tight bun, and she appeared to be mostly make-up free save for a dash of nude lipstick.
While she started out with dog Oskar cruising along on his leash, it seems the silver screen star decided to cross the street, and scooped him up into her arms for the journey.
While Rooney looked rather stoic, one of her latest films The Discovery has been garnering positive buzz.

The Discovery is set in a world where the existence of the afterlife has been scientifically proven by a man named Thomas Harbor, played by Robert Redford.
His son - played by Jason Segel - meanwhile falls in love with a woman (Mara) with a tragic past.
Rooney also attended the premiere of drama A Ghost Story.
