Baishya Saha

Baishya Saha is a Bengali Hindu trading caste whose traditional occupation is grocer, shopkeeper, and dealer of various goods. Some are money lenders and farmers. Some use Saha as their surname, but others use Bhowmik, Chowdhury, Das, Majumder, Mallick, Poddar, Roy Chowdhury, Sarker, and Sikder, among others.[1]
