And while they got off to an awkward start but soon seemed to find common ground with their union, it appears Cheryl Maitland might have already called it quits.

The 25-year-old was spotted without her wedding band as she arrived to work on the Gold Coast on Saturday.

The twin sister of the groom's ex-girlfriend caused a stir for the couple, voicing her objections to their union until she was spoken to by a number of Cheryl's sisters.

Painted as a 'villain' for being outspoken and declaring she 'could easily have anyone' in a promotion for the show, Cheryl also said she worries about intimidating men. 

'I see myself as a good catch and I know what I bring to the table,' she offered on the first episode. 'Yes I do like to look good and I am very confident.'
