Why Michelle Obama won Christmas and how to up the festive feel of your outfit

I'm going to admit something. This week, I actually looked at a pair of Christmas earrings and almost thought about buying them. Oh look, there's something ultimately festive about tiny Christmas tree in red and green that dangle happily around your head, and as a mother, you want to be as fun and Christmassy as humanly possible without actually getting a Santa Claus suit. But then I realised that as soon as I bought those earrings I would turn into my own mother. Not that there's anything wrong with that. Of course.
