Jennifer Connelly opts for a low-key look in a navy coat and beanie as she enjoys a stroll with husband Paul Bettany

They're often kept busy with their hectic filming schedules. 

So Jennifer Connelly and Paul Bettany were no doubt pleased to spend some quality time together as they bundled up to drop their children off at school on Thursday. 

Battling the New York chill, the couple chatted away as they headed back home in the early hours of the morning.

Dressed down for the outing, Jennifer wrapped up in a thick navy coat and wrapped her arms around herself for extra warmth. 

Looking effortlessly chic, the Hulk star teamed the coat with mom jeans, rolling up the hems to expose a pair of black military style boots. 

She finished off the look with a knitted blue beanie cap atop her glossy raven locks.

Jennifer and Paul wed in 2003 after they met on the set of A Beautiful Mind. 

The couple are parents to son Stellan, 13, and daughter Agnes, five.  

Jennifer also has a son Kai, 19, from a previous relationship.

The proud parents revealed they'd drawn the line on having any more children, as Jennifer reasoned that 'three is enough'. 

She told Allure: 'I knew that we were going to be done after number three. 

'That's enough for us.'
