Prince Harry spotted holding hands with Meghan Markle

Hand in hand, Prince Harry and his actress girlfriend Meghan Markle (left) walk through the streets of London as rumours of an impending engagement continue to grow. The prince was pictured holding hands with the American-born divorcee (inset), who has been spending a lot of time with him at Kensington Palace since the beginning of the year, after a romantic dinner at trendy private members' club Soho House on Wednesday. Harry, 32, was said by onlookers to be relaxed about being photographed with his new love (right), which is being seen by royal watchers as a sign of how seriously he is taking the relationship. Another indication is that Miss Markle, 35, who is based in Canada where she films the hit television show Suits, has found a sitter for her dogs, Guy and Bogart, who live with her in Toronto.

David Beckham's personal emails released by hackers

The former England captain was accused of calling the honours committee 'unappreciative c****' for its failure to make him Sir David as well refusing to bankroll the charity. A series of damning emails were released by Football Leaks yesterday, the sporting equivalent of Wiki Leaks. Last night Beckham's representatives dismissed the claims, stating that the emails had been 'hacked and doctored' from a private account. The cache of emails include allegations that Beckham, an ambassador for Unicef, demanded £6,685 from the charity for a business class flight for him to attend an event in Asia, even though his sponsors had provided a private jet

US district judge puts temporary block on Trump travel ban

After a federal judge put a nationwide block on U.S. President Donald Trump's week-old immigration ban on Friday, the White House hit back at the 'outrageous' ruling and said it 'intends to file an emergency stay'. The Department of Justice is expected to halt the order at the earliest possible time, but not as soon as Friday night. Customs and Border Protection has already alerted major US airlines that it will begin to reinstate visas, after the ruling was made effective immediately.
The temporary restraining order represents a major challenge to Trump's controversial action, and his administration took three hours to grasp how to address the Seattle judge's order. Washington state's attorney general, Bob Ferguson, said: 'This decision shuts down the executive order right now. No one is above the law -- not even the President'.

Chelsea Cameron writes letter to drug addict parents

Chelsea Cameron, 18, (left) captured the nation's imagination this week with an open letter to her parents, Tammy and Alexander (pictured together, right), in which she thanked them for her woeful upbringing. To an outsider, Chelsea's life would appear unremittingly grim. But to the daughter of two drug addicts, it was entirely normal. It is nothing short of a miracle, then, that at the age of 18, Chelsea (inset, top). has emerged astonishingly unscathed by her parents's wilful reign of self-destruction. In her 1,300-word letter (inset, bottom) she wrote: 'Mum and Dad, Thanks for everything, I owe you . . . Parents, both of you, thank you for teaching me that taking drugs ruins lives, breaks families apart and gives no one a quality of life worth living . . . Thank you for teaching me to be ambitious.'

Geert Wilders could be the next nail in the EU's coffin

Geert Wilders (right), the 53-year-old of part-Indonesian heritage with peroxide blond hair, is turning Dutch thinking on its head. He is described by some as a rabid racist and has been convicted for inciting discrimination. Once temporarily banned from Britain as 'persona non grata' by the Labour government, he lives under threat of assassination for his fiercely anti-immigration stance, and only this week tried (unsuccessfully) to plaster 'Stop Islam' (members of PEGIDA movement, left) adverts over Holland's trams. He is in such danger from Left-wing activists and Islamic militants that he often wears a bullet-proof vest and is guarded at a safe house round the clock.

Since a crystal is believed to carry energy, it is vital to rid it of any negative vibrations before you begin using it. Believers point to the fact that crystals are used in modern technology such as watches, radios and computers as proof that they can transmit energy into the body.
