Jane Fonda: a figurehead.

Jane began her film career in 1960, in Tall Story. She later shot films in France, Italy, USA and Russia. In 1986 she starred in The Morning After by Sidney Lumet. She starred in Martin Ritt’s film Stanley & Iris in 1990 and then in Searching for Debra Winger in 2002, which was produced by Rosanna Arquette. In 2005, Jane starred in Monster-in-Law by Robert Luketic, and two years later in Gary Marshall’s Georgia Rule. That same year she published her autobiography, My Life, which went to N°1 in the New York Times best sellers

A beauty icon with unique talent.

Jane Fonda, Henry Fonda’s daughter, began studying drama with Lee Strasberg in 1949 and was a member of the famous Actors Studio. She was both actress and producer and revolutionized the fitness world with her workout video in 1982. Jane returned to Broadway in 2009 and was nominated for a Tony Award for her performance in the play 33 Variations. In February 2011, she took up the role again in Los Angeles. Jane Fonda makes a lot of time for charity work. She founded the Georgia Campaign programme for Adolescent Pregnancy Prevention to raise awareness about the problem. She is chairman of the programme.
