Having completed her studies, Doutzen Kroes is now a full time model. Thanks to her professionalism and incredible beauty, the young Dutchwoman shot to stardom early in her career. From designers to journalists, everyone is overwhelmed by her fresh faced beauty. She has already worked with the world’s most talented photographers, including Annie Leibovitz, Peter Lindbergh, Steven Meisel, Mario Testino, Patrick Demarchelier, Inez Van Lammsweerde & Vinoodh Matadin, Mario Sorrenti and Glen Luchford. In 2005, the public voted Doutzen model of the year on Vogue.com. She is married to DJ Sunnery James and has a son, Phyllon, born in 2011.
Doutzen Kroes was noticed very soon after her catwalk début. She has already graced the covers of the world's most prestigious magazines, namely Vogue (in Italy, France, USA, Australia, Spain, Germany), Numéro, Harper's Bazaar, V Magazine, Dazed & Confused, L'Officiel... Doutzen has been Spokesperson for L’Oréal Paris for over 5 years and is the face of Color Riche lipstick and the Lumi Magique range. She works with organisations such as UNICEF, Greenpeace, World Wildlife Fund and Dance4life. Last summer she went to Tanzania to raise awareness about AIDS. A member of the Council of Fashion Designers alongside Anna Wintour, Doutzen is committed to fighting anorexia. She has delivered several speeches on the subject in New York, Boston and at Harvard University.
