How to achieve the ‘Smokey Eye’ effect

Make sure your face is well moisturised before starting, by using a L’Oréal Paris moisturiser such as Youth Code Luminosity Day Cream. Apply a few drops on your finger tips and gently massage onto your face & neck. Then apply a small amount (about the size of a 5 cent coin) of the Lumi Magique Primer  to your lids and under eye area to illuminate the eye contour area. Allow to dry. Even out your complexion using a L’Oréal Paris foundation of your choice (we recommend True Match Foundation or Lumi Magique Foundation and a light dusting of Glam Bronze La Terra to highlight yourcheekbones.

To create a perfect smoky eye look, eyeliner is a must for creating a dark, intense look. Use L’Oreal’s Superliner Waterproof Gel Eyeliner and apply around your eyes, close to the lash line. Apply a coat of Infallible Eye Shadow in Burning Black. Work the shadow up and our and blend well to make sure the colour almost disappears at the crease. Add more powder if needed, but keep the intense colour near your lashes. Follow with a touch of Infallible Eye Shadow in Eternal Black in the outer corners of your eyelids. Finish off with a thick coat of Mega Volume Collagen Mascara Extra Black for the ultimate smokey eye.
