In what Jimmy Kimmel has branded 'the most shocking edition of Lie Witness News yet', he had his team tell people Donald Trump had nominated Robert Kardashian to be a Supreme Court Justice.

Seven people in a row believed the late show host's crew in the segment shown on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Thursday night, with some being outraged while another even thinking the reality star's relationship with Blac Chyna might help relations between China and the USA.

All this comes despite the President's very public announcement that Neil Gorsuch was his pick for the highest federal court in the country just days earlier.

Introducing his engagement - which has previously poked fun at hipsters for pretending to like fake bands at Coachella - even Kimmel was blown away by people's responses to the fake news Rob could by a Supreme Court Justice.

He told the audience after revealing seven people in a row believed the news: 'So, with that said, I am both proud and deeply ashamed to present what could very well be our most shocking edition of Lie Witness News yet.'

But she said a reality star has no place in politics: 'Because I feel reality is biased and can be twisted to be perceived to be one way or another and in order to be on the justice system you have to be facts and no opinions. [sic]'

Her pink-haired pal said she was a Trump supporter but was shocked by his 'decision'. 

The young woman said: 'Honestly, that was the first wrong move I've ever heard him make as president because if he's really going to do this he should bring somebody who is that famous into this.

She continued to say the reality world should not being policies without realizing Trump is also a reality star but she did not rule out more Kardashians joining the Supreme Court bench.

'The only one that has a half a brain would be Khloe or Kourtney.'

One man was very supportive of Trump's decision saying the reality star and law student was qualified as he 'is a people person and he'll keep the people's interests at heart'.

The man also felt like Rob's relationship with Blac Chyna help America's relationship with the country of China.

The horrifying and amusing segment certainly got 'Supreme Court Justice nominee' Rob Kardashian's approval, with the star sharing the video on his Instagram.
