And despite her business and media careers, Elle Macpherson will always take pride in being a mother to two beautiful sons.

On Friday, the 52-year-old shared a throwback photo of herself enjoying a day at the beach with the kids.

In the family snap from 2005, Elle wears a stylish bikini as she dotes on her young children by the shore. 

Despite the photo being taken 12 years ago, the former Sports Illustrated model looks like she's hardly aged a day. 

The 'flashback' picture shows Elle lifting her youngest son Aurelius into the air, while her eldest Arpad Flynn stands next to her.

Elle looks flawless in a string bikini, with the revealing design showing off her lean stomach and sun-kissed legs.

The catwalk queen pairs the look with a cowboy hat,and styles her long blonde hair in beachy waves.

The photo, taken on Harbour Island in the Bahamas, shows a picturesque tropical beach behind the happy family.

Elle wrote in the caption: '#tbt with these two', before adding: 'Birthday boys coming up this week'.
