'I wasn’t leaving my apartment during the day': Biggest Loser's Fiona Falkiner reveals she went through 'depression' after gaining back the 30kgs she lost on weight loss show
The Bigger Loser host Fiona Falkiner has opened up about losing 30 kilos when she appeared on the show's first season, only to gain the weight back during a bout of depression.
The 33-year-old told the Wentworth Courier that after piling on the pounds she became a recluse, hiding in her apartment so nobody would see her.
The blonde beauty said she would exercise in the dark to avoid being noticed.

'I got to the point after the show, I wasn’t leaving my apartment during the day and I would go out at night and run in the dark so no one could see me,' she explained.
Fiona said she wouldn't leave her house for days at a time and began indulging in 'emotional eating'.
It was only when she broke down on a health retreat and spoke with a counselor that she achieved a breakthrough.

Results! Last year, the 33-year-old posted a before-and-after image, speaking openly about her newfound confidence after once being too concerned with 'numbers on a scale'
She stopped weighing herself and dieting and added positive affirmations to her daily routine.
'Taking five minutes out of my day to be grateful for everything I’ve been given and a pat on the back for everything I’ve achieved,' is how she described her progress.
Meanwhile, Fiona is excited to host the new series The Biggest Loser: Transformed, which will focus on the mental approach to getting in shape.

'[It's] getting contestants to realise it's not about losing the weight but really prioritising yourself and the stumbling blocks that lead up to weight gain,' she said.
Fiona will host the new series alongside Shannan Ponton and Sydney-based trainer Libby Babet.
Fitness guru couple Michelle Bridges and Steve 'Commando' Willis have opted not to take part in the latest season.
