Minnie Mouse's biggest fan! One-year-old girl is left open-mouthed in wonder after meeting her Disney 'hero' for the first time in heartwarming video clip

A one-year-old girl had the opportunity to meet her 'hero' at Disneyland — and her reaction was absolutely precious. 

The heartwarming footage was filmed last month at Disneyland in California, and it sees a little girl named Lia meeting Minnie Mouse for the first time. 

'She has a lot of cuddly toys but in particular she loves her giant Minnie Mouse which was given to her by her grandma on the day she was born,' her mother told Newsflare.

Look of wonder: The one-year-old was so amazed to see Minnie that her jaw dropped 

The video begins with Lia's father holding her right before they walk into Minnie Mouse's home, and while she seems like she might be getting fussy, that all changes when she turns around. 

Lia immediately begins pointing at the beloved Disney character as they walk towards her. 

As they get closer, she starts shaking her hand up and down in excitement.

When Minnie put her hand on her shoulder, Lia's jaw dropped with glee.

So happy: The tot couldn't stop staring at the beloved cartoon character, even when it was time to say goodbye 

The tot starts to wave at the cartoon character, and she was so happy to touch Minnie's nose with her finger. 

A woman in the background, presumably Lia's mother, asks her if she wants to give Minnie a 'cuddle', and Lia seems overjoyed by the prospect. 

The two snuggle up to each other for a bit, and it sounds like Lia announces: 'It's Minnie.' 

Lia seems utterly amazed that her toy has seemingly come to life, and she keeps patting her nose. 

At the end of the clip, Lia's dad encourages her to wave goodbye, but she can't stop starring at Minnie with her mouth wide open.
