Lottie Moss cuts a demure figure in lace-up jeans and fur coat as she hits the town for casual night out

She's following in her big sister Kate Moss' footsteps by forging a career as a fashion model.

And Lottie Moss certainly looked the part when she stepped out in London on Wednesday for a friend's birthday meal.

The 19-year-old beauty - who is dating Made In Chelsea's Alex Mytton - was casually clad in a chic winter ensemble, prioritising warmth in a fur coat.

She dressed down her look with edgy, lace-up jeans, a slit running down the seams offering a glimpse of skin.

Simple black stilettos and a leather bag completed the sombre ensemble, with two pom pom key chains injecting a pop of colour.

Lottie wore her bright blonde hair down in loose waves and highlighting her cheekbones with plenty of bronzer.

While Lottie is forging a fantastic career for herself, she has now revealed that she actually never really wanted to a model in her youth.

The rising star admitted to the Telegraph last month that she did not think modelling 'was something she could do', until she was scouted at her supermodel half-sister Kate Moss' wedding five years ago.

Lottie was one of 16 bridesmaids and flower girls when the Croydon-born supermodel Kate married Jamie Hince back in 2011.

However when photos of the big day were released, a 13-year-old Lottie caught the attention of the media with her striking complexion - resulting in her landing a test shoot for the agency which first launched Kate’s career, Storm Management.

Talking of her whirlwind discovery, the blonde beauty admitted to the paper: 'I never really wanted to be a model when I was younger.

'It was something I didn't think I could do – until I was scouted at my sister's wedding. I remember thinking, 'Yeah, that actually sounds fun.''

While she claims it was never a career path she wanted to follow, the Sussex native has now found huge success in the fashion industry - landing campaigns with the likes of Calvin Klein and Bulgari, as well as fronting the cover of Vogue Paris.

With demand for her setting in at aged 16, Lottie added that she does not regret ditching university and higher education in favour of the catwalk.
