About Us
It all started when trying to buy souvenirs to take home for family and friends, finding it hard to get good things, Nicky decided it was time to do something about it. Opening a shop in the former store room of Jills Café was a leap of faith. But we’ve come to love the little space. We love our interactions with local Vanuatu artists and artisans and bringing back this and that from travels abroad: our aim is to provide interesting things from interesting places.
Our product range is eclectic. Accessories, jewelry, funky tea towels, spices, carvings, things for the home, books, and the odd item that we find hard to categorize. Pandanus Vanuatu is the place to come if you celebrate individuality, cherish good design and are inspired by the cool, the quirky and the creative.
Roughly 60% of what we sell is made in Vanuatu. We take care to work with interesting and unique items and the people who make them. Ethical purchasing and building relationships are important to us. Love for design and passion for seeking out the unusual remain the guiding principles of our little business.

We’re open Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm
Saturdays from 9-1.30pm
Cruise ship days (when on a Sunday) 10am to 2pm
