Christianity - Beyond the Da Vinci Code - Did Jesus Really Marry Mary Magdalene?
The Da Vinci Code is a novel that uses the same main character as the previous novel of the same author, Angels & Demons (2000), which did not reach the bestseller thereof (other two previous novels by the same author also failed greatest impact).
In the book, Opus Dei would allegedly involved in a conspiracy to cover up the truth about Jesus, who would have married Mary Magdalene and had descendants who have arrived in France, specifically the Merovingian dynasty.
Literary theory advanced by Brown implies that Christianity would consciously lived within a lie concocted by the Catholic Church for the past two thousand years.
This has aroused much criticism in academia contain historical, geographical, religious and cultural errors and make claims about alleged historical facts without providing evidence.
These criticisms have led even writing at least ten books purporting to refute his arguments. However, the most controversial part of the novel (the supposed descendants of Jesus and Mary Magdalene) is by no means an invention of Brown, but is based on the book Holy Blood, Holy Grail ("Holy Blood, Holy Grail '), translated into Spanish as the holy Grail, written by Michael Baigent, Richard Leigh and Henry Lincoln, by which some lawsuits were filed against Brown for alleged plagiarism to the aforementioned writers. However, Brown won all demands.

Mary Magdalene
Mary Magdalene (Hebrew: מרים המגדלית, original Greek: Μαρία ἡ Μαγδαληνή), or Mary of Magdala and sometimes The Magdalene, is a figure in Christianity. Mary Magdalene travelled with Jesus as one of his followers. She is said to have witnessed Jesus' crucifixion and resurrection. Within the four Gospels she is named at least 12 times, more than most of the apostles. During the Middle Ages she developed a reputation in Western Christianity as being a repentant prostitute or loose woman. This is not supported by the canonical gospels.
The Gospel of Luke says seven demons had gone out of her, and the longer ending of Mark says Jesus had cast seven demons out of her. She is most prominent in the narrative of the crucifixion of Jesus, at which she was present. She was also present two days later, immediately following the sabbath, when, according to all four canonical Gospels, she was either alone or as a member of a group of women the first to testify to the resurrection of Jesus.John 20 and Mark 16:9 specifically name her as the first person to see Jesus after his resurrection.

Nollywood Movies
Nollywood Movies (or Nollywood as it appears on the EPG) is a subscription movie television channel, broadcast in the United Kingdom on the Sky, Virgin media and TalkTalk Plus TV platforms. Each month the channel offers over 30 different new and recently released Nigerian movies, 24-hours-a-day. It is the first such channel in operation in the UK. Films offered are primarily in English, with some subtitled, in genres including drama, comedy, romance, family, thriller, traditional, fantasy and true story films. The channel is funded through subscription and advertising.
As of June 2014, along with several other international channels, Nollywood Movies is available on TalkTalk Plus TV channel 477. The channel is part of the African TV Boost.

Plot: A nearly wordless visual narrative intercuts two main stories and a couple of minor ones. A woman, perhaps the Madonna, brings forth her baby to a crowd of intrusive paparazzi; she tries to flee them. Two men who are lovers marry and are arrested by the powers that be. The men are mocked and pilloried, tarred, feathered, and beaten. Loose in this contemporary world of electrical-power transmission lines is also Jesus. The elements, particularly fire and water, content with political power, which is intolerant and murderous.

The Da Vinci Code is a novel that uses the same main character as the previous novel of the same author, Angels & Demons (2000), which did not reach the bestseller thereof (other two previous novels by the same author also failed greatest impact).
In the book, Opus Dei would allegedly involved in a conspiracy to cover up the truth about Jesus, who would have married Mary Magdalene and had descendants who have arrived in France, specifically the Merovingian dynasty.
Literary theory advanced by Brown implies that Christianity would consciously lived within a lie concocted by the Catholic Church for the past two thousand years.
