'I love you too dude': Kristen Stewart hypes Saturday Night Live hosting debut with Leslie Jones

Kristen Stewart's career continues at a white-hot pace, and the actress will hit another milestone this week, as she hosts Saturday Night Live for the first time.

In a series of promotional clips for the NBC comedy stalwart released this week, the 26-year-old Los Angeles native gets familiar with cast members Beck Bennett and Leslie Jones.

In the clip with Bennett, the 32-year-old sketch comedy actor serenades the young star by singing her name as she observes, smiling.

'I wrote one for you too dude, that's so crazy,' said the actress, who's clad in a coffee brown V-neck shirt and torn black jeans, with her short auburn mane pushed back.

After singing her serenade to Bennett - one word, saying his name - the sketch comedy actor snapped back, 'Wow, no last name, no fedora, you have a lot to do before Saturday.'

The broody beauty replied, 'I love you too dude,' when Beck - acting extra starstruck - flocked back to her side, only to be informed she 'was kind of kidding.'

A dejected Bennett shot back, 'I love joking about stuff,' to which the Twilight star responded, 'Me too, that's why I'm here.' 

Double debut: Saturday's show will also mark the first outing on the program for Cara, a 20-year-old songstress from Canada 

In the clip featuring Jones, the 6ft comic and Ghostbusters star, 49, said to the 5ft5 actress and musical guest Alessia Cara, who stands at 5ft1: 'I am such a big fan of you guys! I love all those little cookies y’all make - delicious!'

'Leslie, for the last time, we're not Keebler Elves,' said Kristen, who made her directorial debut with her recent short film Come Swim. In this shot, Kristen was wearing a grey shirt emblazoned with a graphic promoting the famed band, The Ramones.

Jones replied, 'Oh, so y’all for work Santa then? That's it!'

In a second take, Jones marveled over Stewart's lack of excitement as she prepared for her hosting debut in Studio 8H.

'Man, we're going to have to work on that,' she deadpanned.

The Runaways beauty is the variety show's third guest of the new year, following previous guest hosts Felicity Jones and Aziz Ansari.

Saturday Night Live airs Saturdays on NBC at 11:30/10:30c.
