'Ram it down my throat, why don't you!': Coronation Street cast create a hilarious 'wall of smut' that gathers the filthiest innuendos from the ITV soap
For decades Coronation Street viewers have been tittering over the unintentionally rude bits of dialogue.
And it seems fans of the ITV soap aren't the only ones who've been aware of the sometimes awkward double-meanings of the script.
Cast and crew members have created a secret 'wall of smut' at the show's old studios in Manchester where snippets of lewd script have been posted - which paint the characters in a very different light.

The unofficial noticeboard was uncovered by an urban explorer who visited the old TV site - which has been vacant since filming of the soap moved to a new site at MediaCityUK in 2014.
But the discoverer - who sneaked into the studio space - has revealed how part of the the former production set has been covered in snippings from the soap's scripts over the years.
Lines from Norris, Rita, Eva, Sally and many other characters are picked out for their risqué, Carry On-style double meanings.
The explorer said he went for a last look before old memorabilia is completely destroyed and new shops and apartments are built on the site.

Avert your eyes: Among the best unintentionally rude lines from the 'wall of smut' was this offering from Nora, who said: 'Active too. Golf, badminton, swimming. She was always up for a length or two in the morning'
Among the best unintentionally rude lines from the 'wall of smut' was this offering from Nora.
She said: 'Active too. Golf, badminton, swimming. She was always up for a length or two in the morning.' Meanwhile Owen once remarked: 'Let's sort these kn*bs.'
Sally added in a lascivious observation: 'Hear me out, Mr Foster has a very attractive package.'
Unwittingly causing a stir, Becky said: 'I press random buttons and hope for the best.'
Rita raised some laughs with the line: 'I'll relieve Norris for a while.'
And perhaps best of all, Simon injected some filth into the soap with this simple gem: 'Wow. You're enormous.'
Was she in on it? Brooke Vincent, who plays Sophie Webster on the show, may have been part of the cast who made the wall
Discovery: The explorer who took the pics, who didn't want to be named, said: 'Who knows who put them up... I just found them stuck to the wall outside the studio so could have been anyone. It was a wall of smut really'
Oh dear: Lines included: 'Let's sort these kn*bs' and, 'Hear me out, Mr Foster has a very attractive package'
The explorer who took the pics, who didn't want to be named, said: 'Who knows who put them up... I just found them stuck to the wall outside the studio so could have been anyone. It was a wall of smut really.
'When I saw the snippings it did make me laugh. It was probably the most entertaining thing I've come across on my explorations.
'I think the humour of Corrie, which judging by the photo, is also inherent in its cast and crew, is what makes it so popular - especially with us northerners.'
Coronation Street bosses were not keen to discuss the wall - and didn't reveal whether there was a similar noticeboard in their new Trafford studios.
When approached a spokesman for the show declined to comment.
A source said: 'They are very old scripts - nearly seven years old.'
