But Jennifer Metcalfe looked a far cry from her Hollyoaks character as she donned a casual ensemble while filming upcoming scenes in Dingle, Merseyside, on Thursday.

The actress, 34, sported a double-leopard print look in a fur-covered overcoat and printed skintight trousers as she headed to the wardrobe department for her quick outfit change.

The soap favourite wrapped up against the cool winter chill as she sported a cosy leopard-print jacket while she clutched onto her morning caffeine fix.

Keeping comfortable inbetween filming scenes, the brunette beauty donned a pair of thick chocolate-coloured Ugg boots.

Jennifer looked like she had already hit the hair and make-up department as her long chestnut tresses were styled in soft curls while her pretty features were accentuated with a soft smokey eye and pink lipstick.

Meanwhile, her handsome co-star Duncan James - who plays adulterer Ryan Knight - looked in high spirits as he made his way on set, cradling a cup of coffee.

Meanwhile, Kirsty-Leigh Porter - who plays Leela Lomax - flaunted her tanned and toned pins in a violet thigh-grazing mini-dress.

Duncan recently confessed his 'love of snogging' his co-star Jennifer as he took to the This Morning sofa to discuss his new soap role.

The 38-year-old star gushed: 'I loved snogging Jen Metcalfe, It’s a nice way to start the day!'

Duncan had to kiss Jennifer as his character Ryan Knight has been cheating on his fiancée Amy Barnes with Goldie McQueen and Mercedes.

Discussing his antics, Duncan said: 'He is a very naughty man. You would think that he would be bit more clever with it because he is a detective, but no.'
