Long Island farm owner and businessman, Steven Mezynieski, seen left in a mugshot, has been accused of repeatedly raping his underage niece for three years from 2012 to 2014, according to a lawsuit. Mezynieski (right center), who was arrested and charged with sexual assault last August, has entered a not guilty plea and maintains his innocence. The teen girl says in the civil lawsuit filed in Suffolk County Supreme Court that the 44-year-old first sexually assaulted her when she was 15 years old. The girl says the abuse started when she went on vacation with Mezynieski to Punta Gorda, Florida. One incident allegedly took place at his farm, Driftwood Farms, a property (inset) he purchased for $2million with his wife. Mezynieski also owns an excavation company that helped rebuild many of the dunes protecting multi-million dollar homes along the oceanfront, following the devastation of Hurricane Sandy. If convicted, Mezynieski faces 25 years in prison.

Sarah Porter, from Portland, Maine, was 20-years-old, sitting in math class, when she suffered her first stroke. At first, she just carried on, scribbling notes to prepare for her finals the next week. But her classmate at the University of Maine looked alarmed. A video clip of President Donald Trump's granddaughter singing in Mandarin to celebrate Lunar New Year has gone viral in China. The clip posted by Trump's daughter Ivanka, after their visit to Chinese Embassy in Washington D.C., shows 5-year-old Arabella Kushner wishing a happy new year while playing with a traditional Chinese puppet. The video has been viewed over 18 million times on Chinese social media website Weibo since being uploaded to Ivanka's Instagram page on Thursday.

On Friday, just a handful of severely marked down shoes are all that remain of Ivanka Trump's clothing line on the Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack websites. The department store announced on Thursday that it was dropping the brand due to poor sales. It's believed that the poor sales were caused by a boycott of Trump brands by those unhappy with the election's outcome. Donald Trump's advisor Kellyanne Conway has defended what she called an 'honest mistake' in creating a fictitious 'Bowling Green massacre' on live TV to defend the President's controversial immigration ban. In the MSNBC interview she had tried to blame two Iraqi refugees for carrying out a massacre in Kentucky which never actually happened.

He vowed to slash taxes and the Dodd-Frank banking regulations enacted after the financial crisis. Said there is 'nobody better' than JP Morgan CEO Jamie Dimon to talk to about banking regulations, promising cut back. He hailed panel member BlackRock investment company CEO Larry Fink for having gotten him 'great returns' on his personal investments.

An Illinois realtor and Trump supported was fired over a nasty Twitter exchange with comedian Patton Oswalt. Tony Brust tweeted at 48-year-old Oswalt after he showed his support for Acting Attorney General Sally Yates. Brust mentioned Oswalt's wife, who passed away suddenly in October. The realtor was fired on the same day.

Jack Palkovic (inset), 21, says he was wearing a 'Make America Great Again' cap and on his way to class Thursday when a white SUV slammed to a stop and two young men ran toward him. One of the men screamed an epithet, grabbed Palkovic's hat and pummeled him before the two got back in the vehicle and tried to drive away. Police arrived, blocked their escape and arrested both men. Palkovic is seen in the above photos as he is filmed while the two men grab his hat and attack him, prompting him to retaliate.

Australian group the Sunshine Coast Snake Catchers 24/7 posted the image of six pot plants on its Facebook page on Friday - the question is can you spot which one has a snake hiding in it? It seems hard to fathom but one of the plants in the picture has a huge carpet python wrapped around it. All you have to do is work out exactly where the resting reptile could be.

Having made a miraculous recovery, the now healthy-looking youngster set off to embark on his education in a strapping red outfit (right). Hope (inset) was dumped by his family because they thought he was a witch and was found in the streets by Anja Ringgren Loven, a Danish woman living in Africa, in January 2016.

Christa Shockley, 21, was found shot dead at an EZ Mart in Fouke, Arkansa where she worked at 2am on Thursday. A few hours later, cops arrested a 12-year-old boy for her murder. The pre-teen is not being identified, due to his age. He faces a charge of capital murder and aggravated robbery. Sources told a local news outlet that the suspect has autism.

Joaquin 'El Chapo' Guzman was taken to U.S. federal court in a 12-car motorcade Friday morning that shut down the Brooklyn Bridge for 15 minutes. During the court appearance, lawyers for the Mexican drug lord complained that conditions at the Manhattan jail are too strict. They say he is being locked in a cell for 23 hours a day and is being denied visits with his wife and Mexican lawyer. The judge declined to rule on El Chapo's concerns. His next court appearance will be in May.

Gregory Dennis (top right), 54, who runs a mental health clinic in Boulder City, Nevada, was booked at the Henderson Detention Center without bail on Thursday for the slaying of his wife, Susan Winters (bottom right). Police apprehended Dennis during a traffic stop on Thursday morning following a 'lengthy' homicide investigation. On January 3, 2015, Winters, 48, died in the couple's Henderson, Nevada, home after she had consumed a deadly combination of prescription painkillers and antifreeze. Initially, the Clark County coroner's office ruled that Winters committed suicide. The couple is seen above in an undated family photo.

An arrest warrant has been issued for Juli Glisson (left), 40, who will be charged with aggravated vehicular homicide in the death of Nashville police officer Eric Mumaw (right). Police say the 44-year-old officer drowned while trying to prevent an inebriated Glisson from driving her car into the Cumberland River.

Two suspects, including the victim's ex-boyfriend Jack Morgan, left, and Sophie Brown, right, have been arrested in the kidnapping of a 28-year-old woman on Monday, who reportedly planned to chain her inside a New Mexico cave and 'brainwash' her in to becoming his wife. The victim,Jane Priebe, inset, was found alive in New Mexico on Monday evening after she was dragged from her Las Vegas apartment, forced into a minivan and whisked away by her abductors after a struggle. Priebe's ex-boyfriend Jack Morgan, 31, and a 19-year-old transgender woman named Sophie Brown have been identified as the kidnappers.

WARNING: DISTRESSING CONTENT A Chinese teenager died today after being thrown out of a malfunctioned swing ride mid-air at an amusement park. The accident occurred at Fengdu County in south-west China's Chongqing city this afternoon, according to local media. The girl, 14, was pronounced dead at the People's Hospital in Fengdu County after failed resuscitation attempts, reports said.

Officers were called to Korea town at around 2:30pm on Wednesday after reports the 83-year-old woman had been assaulted. Witnesses say that the suspect had punched the grandma in the back of her head, knocking her to the ground. Seng Vongphrachanh, a Koreatown resident who arrived at the scene after the attack and chased after her attacker, claims that she repeatedly yelled 'power is power' and the N-word. Alexis Duvall, 27, was arrested at the scene on suspicion of battery and is currently being held on $50,000 bail.

A Florida man says he was left with no choice but to drive his truck over another man's car, after a road rage incident threatened to turn deadly while his young son and girlfriend were in the truck with him. The scene unfolded around noon on Wednesday when Adalberto Aponte (top right) allegedly began driving his Toyota Camry erratically, almost causing several crashes. Police say Aponte leaped out of the car and attacked a truck driver at a stoplight, and the driver drove his truck over the Camry in response.

In a new video, an extreme downhill skater is seen falling from at least 15 feet in the air before painfully crushing his tailbone into the hard, frozen ice. At first the skater looks like he is in control. He jumps over a dip and lands below with grace before pushing onward at what looks like a terrifying speed.

Boeing has hired a small company to make about 600 3D-printed parts for its Starliner space taxis. Oxford's parts will help Boeing lower costs and save weight on each seven-seat capsule. Boeing's award of the parts for its flagship space program and Hexcel's funding are strategic bets that printed plastics can perform flawlessly even under the extreme stress of a rocket launch and sub-zero temperatures of space.

Møvik Fort, at Kristiansand in southern Norway, was constructed between 1941 and 1944 by the German navy to help counter the threat from Allied ships. But over the years it has become a magnet for far-right extremists who have scrawled Nazi symbols and racist slogans on the walls, including the words: 'Whites Only'. The images were taken by an urban explorer named 'Loadinglevelone'.

Streets in the city of Mazatlan in Mexico were flooded after a shark tank at an aquarium cracked and released torrents of water. Around 30 inches of glass detached, causing the tank to burst and water to gush into the streets. A total of 13 sharks and various other fish were located in the tanks and were successfully transferred to new tanks.

Mathieu Villegas, of Montréal, Québec in Canada, filmed himself swimming underwater in Morrison's Quarry, near Ottawa and investigating wreckages. The daredevil completed his dives without any breathing equipment, known as freediving. Footage from the camera shows the 42-year-old exploring a plane wreck before diving 65 feet below the surface to sit on top of a submarine wreck.

Amazing footage captures the moment 149 baby hawksbill turtles make their way to the ocean for the first time, after hatching on Christmas day near a hotel resort in Jamaica. Due to pollution and a loss of nesting areas caused by human expansion, the hawksbill is a critically endangered species. The charismatic creatures also have particularly slow reproduction rates and are often killed by humans deliberately or accidentally. As a migratory species they rely on the currents and warm streams to direct their movements, only coming together in pairs to mate. The clip showed beach goers forming a guard of honour on the beach while a man dressed in a Father Christmas costume led the sun-kissed festivities. The tiny turtles will take 20 years to fully mature and will make their way to nearby reefs where they feed on sponge found on corals. They return to the shore when they have sufficiently grown to mate.
