PICTURE EXCLUSIVE: Worse for wear David Beckham gallantly holds car door open for model Poppy Delevingne as they party the night away together in Hollywood

Since touching down in Los Angeles recently, David Beckham appears to be making the most of all the sun-kissed Californian city has to offer.

In the early hours of Thursday morning, the retired footballer was seen partying at West Hollywood bar The Friend with British model Poppy Delevingne.

And, as pictures exclusively obtained by MailOnline show, while the sportsman appeared to be a tad worse for wear, he remained the quintessential gentleman, holding a car door open for the beauty as they eventually  made their exit.

We like to party! David Beckham was seen partying with Poppy Delevingne at West Hollywood bar The Friend in the early hours of Thursday morning

Looking uncharacteristically unkempt in a crumpled khaki jacket with a red beanie, the Manchester United legend struggled to keep his eyes open as he left the bar.

Poppy, looking like she'd also enjoyed quite a memorable night, followed closely behind, wearing a denim jacket and toting a black Louis Vuitton handbag.

Also spotted at the hot-spot that night were Poppy's fellow model sister Cara Delevingne, as well as singer and former The Voice judge Rita Ora.

Sleek: David looked a car cry from his usual polished look as he enjoyed his night of revelry

And while many a mere mortal would likely spend the proceeding morning after such a night out wrapped under bed covers, David was back to working on his fitness just hours later.

As the sun shone over the coastal city, David was spotted in the tony neighbourhood of Brentwood, where went for a workout session at the popular SoulCycle gym.

Bearing his heavily tattooed arms in a tight black T-shirt - which he teamed with black shorts and peach sneakers - he shielded his eyes behind a pair of Ray-Ban sunglasses while a black cap sat atop his head.

Hometown glory: David's wife, Victoria Beckham, and their children are currently in London

David, whose singer-turned-designer wife, Victoria Beckham, is currently in London with the couple's four children, enjoyed a guys' night out on Wednesday.

He was joined by pal David Gardner courtside during a Los Angeles Lakers basketball game at downtown LA's Staples Center.

He looked scruffy during the game against the Denver Nuggets (who lost to the Lakers 120-116), wearing a burgundy beanie and bristly beard while he cheered on the team.

Soul man! Hours later, he was seen exiting an morning class at Brentwood's SoulCycle gym

David seemed thrilled to spend a night out with the boys, as he was seen grinning and laughing throughout the game.

The 41-year-old hunk looked casually cool for the sporty excursion, wearing a slate coloured tee with his maroon knitted beanie hat.

He carried a matching sweater over his shoulders before ditching the extra layer beneath his chair.

Days earlier, David was spotted with his wife Victoria in France, where they soaked up the festvities surrounding Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week.
