Long Island farm owner and businessman, Steven Mezynieski, seen left in a mugshot, has been accused of repeatedly raping his underage niece for three years from 2012 to 2014, according to a lawsuit. Mezynieski, who was arrested and charged with sexual assault last August, has entered a not guilty plea and maintains his innocence. The teen girl says in the civil lawsuit filed in Suffolk County Supreme Court that the 44-year-old first sexually assaulted her when she was 15 years old. The girl says the abuse started when she went on vacation with Mezynieski to Punta Gorda, Florida. One incident allegedly took place at his farm, Driftwood Farms, a property (seen inset) he purchased for $2million with his wife (seen left in the photo right - his sister is pictured next to him on the right). Mezynieski also owns an excavation company that helped rebuild many of the dunes protecting multi-million dollar homes along the oceanfront, following the devastation of Hurricane Sandy. If convicted, Mezynieski faces 25 years in prison.

Newly released home movies show the creepy relationship Yaser Abdel Said (left) had with his two daughters he is accused of murdering in a motel parking lot. Home video shows Said lurking in the bedrooms of daughters Sarah (right), 17, and Amina (center),18, making leering comments at his children.

Australian group the Sunshine Coast Snake Catchers 24/7 posted the image of six pot plants on its Facebook page on Friday - the question is can you spot which one has a snake hiding in it? Donald Trump's advisor Kellyanne Conway has taken 'alternative facts' to a new level and created a fictitious 'Bowling Green massacre' to defend the President's controversial immigration ban related to seven majority-Muslim countries. During a Thursday interview with MSNBC's Chris Matthews, Conway made a reference to two Iraqi refugees whom she described as the masterminds behind 'the Bowling Green Massacre'. 'I bet it's brand new information to people that President Obama had a six-month ban on the Iraqi refugee program after two Iraqis came here to this country, were radicalized and they were the masterminds behind the Bowling Green massacre', she said. 'Most people don't know that because it didn't get covered', Conway added. The White House didn't return a call for clarification earlier today, but it's thought that Ms Conway may have been referring to two Iraqis - Mohanad Shareef Hammadi, 25, and Waad Ramadan Alwan, 41 - who were jailed in 2011 for attempting to send weapons and money to al-Qaeda in Iraq for the purpose of killing U.S. soldiers, according to a news release from the Department of Justice. There has never been a terrorist attack in Bowling Green, Ky., carried out by Iraqi refugees or anyone else.

An Illinois realtor and Trump supported was fired over a nasty Twitter exchange with comedian Patton Oswalt. Tony Brust tweeted at 48-year-old Oswalt after he showed his support for Acting Attorney General Sally Yates. Brust mentioned Oswalt's wife, who passed away suddenly in October. The realtor was fired on the same day.

Jack Palkovic (inset), 21, says he was wearing a 'Make America Great Again' cap and on his way to class Thursday when a white SUV slammed to a stop and two young men ran toward him. One of the men screamed an epithet, grabbed Palkovic's hat and pummeled him before the two got back in the vehicle and tried to drive away. Police arrived, blocked their escape and arrested both men. Palkovic is seen in the above photos as he is filmed while the two men grab his hat and attack him, prompting him to retaliate.

Rhode Island state legislator Moira Walsh, 26, was dismissed from her job at Classic Cafe in Providence, after her boss said her 'vocal political discussions' were interfering with her work. Diner owner Raymond Burns said the 'final straw' was a scathing online review from a customer that complained about the waitress and her 'anti-male' views.

Christa Shockley, 21, was found shot dead at an EZ Mart in Fouke, Arkansa where she worked at 2am on Thursday. A few hours later, cops arrested a 12-year-old boy for her murder. The pre-teen is not being identified, due to his age. He faces a charge of capital murder and aggravated robbery. Sources told a local news outlet that the suspect has autism.

Having made a miraculous recovery, the now healthy-looking youngster set off to embark on his education in a strapping red outfit (right). Hope (inset) was dumped by his family because they thought he was a witch and was found in the streets by Anja Ringgren Loven, a Danish woman living in Africa, in January 2016.

Gregory Dennis (top right), 54, who runs a mental health clinic in Boulder City, Nevada, was booked at the Henderson Detention Center without bail on Thursday for the slaying of his wife, Susan Winters (bottom right). Police apprehended Dennis during a traffic stop on Thursday morning following a 'lengthy' homicide investigation. On January 3, 2015, Winters, 48, died in the couple's Henderson, Nevada, home after she had consumed a deadly combination of prescription painkillers and antifreeze. Initially, the Clark County coroner's office ruled that Winters committed suicide. The couple is seen above in an undated family photo.

Valentin Herrera was walking his five-year-old Pomeranian named Dodger (bottom right) in Los Angeles when officials say a neighbor's two male pit bulls (top right) lunged at the pooch, killing it. The dogs then attacked the dementia-stricken owner, leaving him with injuries to his head and arm. Herrera is seen left being taken to hospital.

Yevgeniu Savenok (pictured inset) pleaded guilty to the brutal murder of his pregnant wife and their unborn son Lyuba, who is pictured with her children, Thursday morning. The murder took place at their home in Eden Prairie, Minnesota in May of 2016. Members of the Eden Prarie Police department were in court to hear his plea, and many described this case as one of the most brutal they had ever investigated. Savenok allegedly stabbed his wife seven or eight times, and she died at the scene. Emergency crew performed an emergency C-section in an attempt to save their unborn son, but he dies minutes after the operation. He was going to be named Ellis.

The 27-year-old former Miss Alabama took to Instagram on Thursday to share photos and even a video of her eight-month-old son Tripp sitting in a raised police car-inspired chair while getting his hair trimmed. 'Baby's first haircut! He's growing too fast #8monthsold,' Katherine captioned a photo of Tripp at Smilz 'n Stylz, a children's hair salon in Mobile, Alabama. After his haircut was complete, Tripp was all smiles as he posed with his father AJ, who is the quarterback for the Cincinnati Bengals.

Officers were called to Korea town at around 2:30pm on Wednesday after reports the 83-year-old woman had been assaulted. Witnesses say that the suspect had punched the grandma in the back of her head, knocking her to the ground. Seng Vongphrachanh, a Koreatown resident who arrived at the scene after the attack and chased after her attacker, claims that she repeatedly yelled 'power is power' and the N-word. Alexis Duvall, 27, was arrested at the scene on suspicion of battery and is currently being held on $50,000 bail.

WARNING: DISTRESSING CONTENT A Chinese teenager died today after being thrown out of a malfunctioned swing ride mid-air at an amusement park. The accident occurred at Fengdu County in south-west China's Chongqing city this afternoon, according to local media. The girl, 14, was pronounced dead at the People's Hospital in Fengdu County after failed resuscitation attempts, reports said.

Logan Crahan, who is wearing a 'Big Bro' top, was filmed walking straight towards his baby brother Liam after entering mother Alexa's room at the ProMedica Toledo Hospital in Ohio. After being lifted up next to his baby brother, he hugs his head repeatedly and kisses him. As his mother tells him 'I've missed you', Logan carries on putting his arms around the baby.

Møvik Fort, at Kristiansand in southern Norway, was constructed between 1941 and 1944 by the German navy to help counter the threat from Allied ships. Streets in the city of Mazatlan in Mexico were flooded after a shark tank at an aquarium cracked and released torrents of water. Around 30 inches of glass detached, causing the tank to burst and water to gush into the streets. A total of 13 sharks and various other fish were located in the tanks and were successfully transferred to new tanks.

Mathieu Villegas, of Montréal, Québec in Canada, filmed himself swimming underwater in Morrison's Quarry, near Ottawa and investigating wreckages. The daredevil completed his dives without any breathing equipment, known as freediving. Footage from the camera shows the 42-year-old exploring a plane wreck before diving 65 feet below the surface to sit on top of a submarine wreck.

Amazing footage captures the moment 149 baby hawksbill turtles make their way to the ocean for the first time, after hatching on Christmas day near a hotel resort in Jamaica. Due to pollution and a loss of nesting areas caused by human expansion, the hawksbill is a critically endangered species. The charismatic creatures also have particularly slow reproduction rates and are often killed by humans deliberately or accidentally. As a migratory species they rely on the currents and warm streams to direct their movements, only coming together in pairs to mate. The clip showed beach goers forming a guard of honour on the beach while a man dressed in a Father Christmas costume led the sun-kissed festivities. The tiny turtles will take 20 years to fully mature and will make their way to nearby reefs where they feed on sponge found on corals. They return to the shore when they have sufficiently grown to mate.
