The International Monetary Fund is an international US-based organization of 188 countries focused on international trade, financial stability, and economic growth. For more information see its website.

The IMF eLibrary provides access to IMF publications, including periodicals, studies, ebooks, and statistical tools. This partnership will provide up to 50 editors free access to the IMF eLibrary for one year.

Requirements

• You have your preferences enabled to receive email messages on English Wikipedia or on your home wiki linked from your application; (see Special:Preferences)
• You have an account that is a minimum of 6 months old
• You have a minimum of 500 edits to the encyclopedia
• You do not already have access to this resource through another library or institution

If you don't quite meet the experience requirements but think you would still be a strong candidate for access, feel free to apply and you may be considered

Expectations

Approved editors may

• Search, view, retrieve, and display portions of restricted content;
• Electronically save portions of restricted content;
• Print out single copies of portions of restricted content;

Approved editors will not

• Share their account logins or passwords with others, or sell their access to other parties
• Mass scrape or mass download IMF content
• Systematically make printed or electronic copies of multiple extracts of restricted content available for any purpose.
• Datamine metadata without permission, in order, for instance, to use metadata for auto-created stub articles.
• Violate any terms and conditions which appear on the particular pages of the IMF website they are accessing.

Private and confidential information

• By applying to the Program, you understand and agree that your name and email address may be shared with representatives of the Wikimedia Foundation, The Wikipedia Library, and IMF. Wikipedia Library organizers contracted under the Wikimedia Foundation will abide by the Wikimedia Foundation privacy policy and associated confidentiality agreements. Volunteer representatives of the Wikipedia Library are neither employees nor contractors of the Wikimedia Foundation (or IMF), but they have signed confidentiality agreements with the Wikimedia Foundation with regards to the personal information they may handle for the Wikipedia Library.

BeenAroundAWhile (talk · contribs · central auth · count · email) I am interested in the history of the International Labor Office and intend to use this library to find WP:Reliable sources in order to make the current Wikipedia article on the organization more balanced. Much of the article seems to have been written by the ILO public-relations staff. As side note, I did most of the first edits to Commissions of the Danube River and Internationalization of the Danube River, as well as some other articles on the history of the Danube River. Also, I have done a great deal of work on List of districts and neighborhoods of Los Angeles (beginning many articles from scratch via research in the Los Angeles Public Library) I've also done many biographical articles stemming from the master lists at Los Angeles City Council. 2. Neo139 (talk · contribs · central auth · count · email) I am interested in charts. I upload charts like this one or this one. Mainly on economics articles, but not necessarily. Zach Vega (talk · contribs · central auth · count · email) I have just completed work on the list of countries by GDP and want to begin working on articles on historical economic events such as the Depression of 1920–21 and the 1997 Asian financial crisis, both of which the IMF likely has substantive accounts and data on. I have been focusing on antiquity, however I am certain I could make good use of the IMF's publications.
