Model Tyson Beckford pulls GUN on process server outside his Miami apartment

Tyson Beckford pulled a firearm on a visitor last Thursday at his home, according to a report. 

The 46-year-old Ralph Lauren model was confronted by a process server, who knocked on his Miami apartment door at around 9 a.m., TMZ reports.

The man, who Tyson described as large and sporting an eye patch, was there to serve Beckford with a lawsuit which dealt with the Into the Blue star's Beckford Bar exercise equipment.

Both men's stories then diverge in terms of what happened next.

The process server insists he identified himself to the famous hunk, before explaining why he was there.

He claims Tyson then slammed the door in his face, before coming back and confronting him with a gun while telling him to exit the building.

Tyson disputes that version of events however, and claimed he grabbed his weapon because he feared for his safety.

According to TMZ, Tyson simply stated he was not expecting a visitor in a secure building such as his, and when he saw 'a very large white guy with an eyepatch' outside his door he became alarmed.

He also declared that the server didn't identify himself, and attempted to aggressively push the door back into the two time Make Me a Supermodel vet.

Additionally, he revealed that he does in fact possess a concealed weapons permit. The process server reportedly opted not to file charges.

Meanwhile, Tyson recently made the surprising confession that he is 'controlling' in relationships.

Speaking to Diana Madison at Michael Costello's New York Fashion Week show, he said: 'I have a way of putting my foot in my mouth.'

He continued: 'There is no filter and that is my problem'. Tyson dated fellow model Shanina Shaik, 25, until June of last year.
