Make-up free Charlotte McKinney ditches the glamour as she steps out in sweats for casual day of shopping in West Hollywood

Her star may be on the rise, but Charlotte McKinney was decidedly camera shy when she stepped out in West Hollywood on Thursday.

Dressed casually in black gym tights, an oversized grey sweater and grey Nike sneakers, the 23-year-old kept her head down as she made her way back to her car following a morning of shopping.

The usually glamorous star was wearing no makeup, and had her long blonde hair tied up in a messy bun as she tried to hide her face from onlookers.

But as her career continues to skyrocket, the blonde babe admits she still hasn't adapted to life in the spotlight, particularly dealing with the paparazzi. 

'I know that comes with the business. I get their job, and I get mine. But lately I’ve just wanted my privacy,' she told OceanDrive in an interview this month. 'I’ve been sick and I don’t want to be in makeup, but no matter what, they still catch me. So that’s something I’m learning to cope with. It can definitely be tough when you don’t want it.' 

The model turned up-and-coming actress has five films in the works this year, including the highly anticipated Baywatch with Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron.

But while she's popular now, Charlotte admits it wasn't always the case growing up in Orlando, Florida.

'Obviously I got more attention from the male side than from the female side. I didn’t have any girlfriends. A lot of my friends were guys, and I was called a slut by a lot of people,' she said. 'I was just growing these large breasts at such a young age, not really knowing what to do with them or how to wear them. So it was definitely awkward.' 

And while she's now famous for being well-endowed, the busty bombshell says she's seriously considering getting a breast reduction.

'I’ve been thinking about it,' she confessed. 'They’ve definitely gotten smaller from my diet and over time. So I can see myself getting a reduction or a lift in the future.' 

After dropping out of school and moving to Miami at 17, the sexy star decided to pursue modeling.

'I just knew that from seeing photos and seeing girls, I had what it takes. I knew I could do it,' she admitted. 'I was a very determined kid, and not only in modeling - I wanted to break into the entertainment industry. Whether it was modeling or acting, I kind of fell in love with it.'
