She may be known for her simple and organic beauty products but there is nothing simple or down to earth about this star's new pad.

Jessica Alba has just bought herself a mega mansion high above Beverly Hills, California.

While the 35-year-old used a trust to keep her big ticket purchase secret, real estate blog Yolanda's Little Black Book uncovered that the Honey actress had picked herself up a new place.

Jessica paid $9.948 million for the property last month which is located in the area known as Beverly Hills Post Office, as it is not officially in Beverly Hills city limits but is covered by the post code and the area's police force.

While not official Beverly Hills, the area is sought after as usually it provides a little bit more value for money - not that anything about Jessica's home came cheap.

The star did get herself a good deal however, with the home - which was owned by Black swan producer Mike Medavoy - listed for just under $11 million.

Jessica was able to get a deal as she had a real estate agent she can trust - her dad Mark.

And, despite its hillside position, the large land parcel is completely flat making it a perfect spot for Jessica's little girls Honor and Haven - if she puts up a fence of course.

In addition to a lovely grassy play area, the girls will also be able to take summer's dips in the large pool.
