Quite a send-off! Lena Dunham bares her tummy in crop top and long skirt as she joins co-stars for celebration of final season of Girls

It's the end of an era for Lena Dunham as her HBO series Girls enters its final season.

And the actress, writer and director gave her 'baby' quite the sendoff as she showed up for a celebration of the hit show in a crop top and long skirt.

The normally covered up star displayed her tummy in the ensemble as she posed with her co-stars Wednesday night in New York.

Big night: Lena Dunham bared her midriff in a crop top and long skirt as she attended an event in New York Wednesday evening to celebrate the sixth and final season of her HBO series Girls

The 30-year-old wore a black and light blue two-tone top that had short sleeves and a narrow turtle neck.

Her skirt hugged her hips just below her belly button and fell to her ankles and sjhe added a pair of pointed toe black heels.

She wore her dark hair with its dyed blonde ends loose and rocked a bright shade of lip color.

Be pretty in preppy in a Fendi dress like Allison's

The girls of GIRLS stepped out to celebrate the final season of their show last night with TimesTalks.

While this is a devastating blow for us fanatics, at least we've been given a chance to gawp at their style one last time before we say goodbye.

That being said, Allison Williams never disappoints and last night was no exception as she donned a burnt orange teacup dress from Fendi's Pre-Fall 2017 collection.

We love the preppy Peter Pan collar with rick-rack cutouts that lined the hem and ran down the length of her sleeves.

Sadly, we won't be able to get our hands on this exact dress till much later this year. But in the meantime, click right to shop the current collection at Matches Fashion or get inspired with one of the alternatives in the edit below!

Zosia Mamet, 28, paired black pants with black pumps and a pretty colorful patterned blouse.

Her reddish-blonde hair was scraped back from her face into a ponytail and she rocked large hooped eaarings that matched her top.

Jeminia Kirke, 31, opted for a full-length blue gown with buttons down the bodice.

Her blonde shoulder-length hair was styled in loose ringlets with a center parting.

On stage: The four chatted about their show before an audience at the event hosted by TimesTalks

Moving on: The end of the series is naturally bitter-sweet especially for Dunham

Girls centered around the coming of age of Hannah Horvath, played by Dunhamwho stumbles through life with best friends from college, Marnie Michaels played by Williams and Jessa Johansson, played by Kirke.

The character of Jessa's younger cousin, Shoshanna Johansson played by Mamet, gets brought along for the ride when Jessa moves in with her in New York.

'That last week was so heartbreaking,' recalled Williams during the panel discussion.

Season six of Girls premieres February 12 at 10 p.m. on HBO.
