'I'm more nervous on runways now' than when I was 21': Naomi Campbell, 46, admits she feels 'vulnerable' on the catwalk alongside younger models
She has worked as a model for three decades, and was one of the original 'supermodels' alongside Linda Evangelista, Christy Turlington and Cindy Crawford.
But despite her experience, 46-year-old Naomi Campbell admits she gets jittery when walking the world's runways alongside some of today's young pretenders.
'I feel nervous when I walk out [onto the runway],' she tells the March issue of Town & Country magazine. 'I just try to make it down in one piece and make it back in one piece. I enjoy it, but I'm nervous.'

She adds: 'Especially now. I mean, I'm 46, and these girls are 21 or 18… I don't know if it's about the age thing, necessarily, but for me there's always a vulnerability there.'
Naomi began modelling after being discovered at the tender age of 16 while shopping in London's Covent Garden.
And even as she nears 50, she's still in demand as a model, posing in several stunning shots for the magazine where she shows off her enviably slim figure in midnight blue Carolina Herrera.
One sultry shot shows her draped on a green velvet couch sporting towering matching Azzedine Alaia heels.

Another shot features her in a low backed Lanvin gown slit to the hip with coordinating Paul Andrew heels.
The model, who has also started acting in U.S. TV fantasy series Star, also discusses her friendship with Nelson Mandela, who passed away back in 2013.
'He was always there for me, and he never judged me,' she says. 'He was very instrumental in showing me that I have the ability to help others.
'He's the one who sent me to do fieldwork for his children's fund, and when I would get too emotional in the beginning he would coach me about crying in front of the kids and learning to deal with it.'
She's in fashion: Naomi Campbell is still in demand as a model aged 46
The star has continued her charity drive, setting up a fundraiser for the victims of Hurricane Katrina back in 2005.
'I was shocked seeing all these people walking around the streets of New Orleans with nowhere to go, with their homes in their bags,' she recalls.
'So I picked up the phone and called Teddy Forstmann, who owned IMG at the time, and said I needed to put together a benefit show in seven days.'
