While Jared Kushner was all smiles meeting Jordan's Queen Rania during the National Prayer Breakfast, right, a somber-looking Ivanka Trump was pictured leaving their D.C. home, center, as it was revealed that Nordstrom is dropping her fashion line including clothing, shoes and jewelry after a drop in sales likely due to women boycotting the range. The popular department-store chain announced it wouldn't renew it's partnership with Ivanka for the upcoming season and by Thursday evening had completely wiped the first daughter's merchandise from their website, pictured inset. Ivanka is pictured in a photo promoting the brand, left. The move comes after several other retailers have already stopped selling her merchandise due to the Grab Your Wallet campaign, which was launched on October 11 by Shannon Coulter and called for shoppers to boycott retailers that carry her brand or her father's goods.

Paris' Louvre shut down over man with machete

A huge security operation is underway in Paris after a man was shot while trying to storm the Louvre art gallery armed with a machete. The suspect was shot five times in the stomach and is in a critical condition. He was shouting 'Allahu Akbar' - Arabic for 'God is the greatest' - according to the Paris prefect. After being refused entry, he pulled out the weapon and was shot by a soldier, according to sources at the scene. A solider is believed to have suffered a head injury.

Queen Bey shared the pictures Thursday on her website, the day after announcing she and husband Jay-Z were expecting twins. One of the pictures (upper left), which depicts Beyonce on a lounge chair, is a striking replica of Guido Reni's Reclining Venus With Cupid (upper right), which dates back to the 17th century. Both images show a woman - in one case, Beyonce, in the other, Venus, propped her on her right arm with a young child nearby. In Beyonce's photo, the child is Blue Ivy, whereas in Reni's painting, the child is Cupid - who in classical mythology is often portrayed as Venus' son. Search crews found the body of Metro Nashville Police Officer Eric Mumaw, 44, in the Cumberland River. Mumaw drowned while trying to rescue Juli Glisson, 40, who drove her car into the water.
