The adorable moment Prince Harry pranks an unimpressed school boy with the 'wrong shoulder' trick (and gamely acts surprised when the joke's turned on him)

He's known as the joker of the royal family, but a young boy got one up on Prince Harry yesterday when the Queen's grandson tried to prank him.
The Prince was visiting the Nottingham Academy and decided to play the age old 'wrong shoulder' trick on a young student.
As he sat to the boy's right, he reached his arm around and tapped the boy on his left shoulder.
But the youngster realised what was going wrong straight away, and turned to the Prince with and adorably knowing expression.

Then he decided to get his own back by waiting until the royal wasn't looking and reaching around to tap him on the shoulder.
Good sport Harry feigned surprise, and looked around him in mock confusion.
The Prince was on great form yesterday, dancing along to rap music during a lyric writing class.
He was treated to a rap performance by local youngsters at Nottingham Academy where he showed off his dancing skills.

Not easily fooled! The youngster knew what was going on straight away and wasn't afraid to let the prince know he wasn't pulling the wool over his eyes
The little boy then gave Harry a taste of their own medicine by trying the same prank on him
Onlookers said the youngsters gave Harry tips on rapping and the royal was even spotted giving pupil Newton Mwaniki a fist bump during the session.
Harry was in Nottingham to learn more about the Coach Core and Full Effect programmes.
Full Effect supports children and teenagers in the St Ann’s area to deter them from becoming involved in youth violence and gangs.
Harry joined in with music and sports sessions at the academy to learn first-hand the difference made by a new drive to mentor secondary school students.

He later watched young people and mentors perform an excerpt from 'hip-hopera' Look Sharp: The Barbershop and Nott Romeo and Juliet, both creative projects set up by Full Effect.
This morning he was back on duty again, visiting the London Ambulance Service HQ to discuss mental health issues with staff.
The royal movingly opened up about his time in Afghanistan, explaining that the injured service personnel he used to fly to hospital still play on his mind.
