Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios Inc. (abbreviated as MGM or M-G-M, also known as Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Pictures, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, or simply Metro) is an American media company, involved primarily in the production and distribution of feature films and television programs.
Once the largest, most glamorous, and most revered film studio, MGM was founded in 1924 when the entertainment entrepreneur Marcus Loew gained control of Metro Pictures, Goldwyn Pictures and Louis B. Mayer Pictures. Its headquarters are in Beverly Hills, California. It is one of the oldest mini-major film studios and a former major film studio.
In 1971, it was announced that MGM would merge with 20th Century Fox, a plan which never came into fruition. Over the next thirty-nine years, the studio was bought and sold at various points in its history until, on November 3, 2010, MGM filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. MGM emerged from bankruptcy on December 20, 2010, at which time the executives of Spyglass Entertainment, Gary Barber and Roger Birnbaum, became co-Chairmen and co-CEOs of the holding company of Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer.
Columbia Pictures is an American film production and distribution studio of the Sony Pictures Motion Picture Group, a division of Sony Pictures Entertainment, a subsidiary of the Japanese conglomerate Sony. It is one of the leading film studios in the world, a member of the so-called Big Six. It was one of the so-called Little Three among the eight major film studios of Hollywood's Golden Age.
The studio, originally founded in 1918 as "Cohn-Brandt-Cohn Film Sales" by brothers Jack and Harry Cohn and Jack's best friend Joe Brandt, released its first feature film in August 1922. It adopted the Columbia Pictures name in 1924 and went public two years later. The name is derived from "Columbia", a national personification of the United States, which is used as the studio's logo.
In its early years a minor player in Hollywood, Columbia began to grow in the late 1920s, spurred by a successful association with director Frank Capra. It's the world's fifth largest major film studio.
Marvel Studios, LLC originally known as Marvel Films from 1993 to 1996, is an American motion picture studio based at The Walt Disney Studios in Burbank, California. Marvel Studios' films are distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures; Paramount Pictures from 2008 to 2011; Universal Pictures for 2008's The Incredible Hulk; and Sony Pictures for the Spider-Man film scheduled for release on July 28, 2017.

This is the remake of this combo, this time a brand-new Marvel Studios logo that debuted at the SDCC 2016. I've change the year from 2016 to 2018 because then to allow MGM by getting a distribution deal with The Walt Disney Studios soon, according to Scott Medelson at Forbes. Not just MGM teams up with Disney to distribute Bond 25 if Scott was right but also co-financed with Marvel Studios to co-produce future Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) films (e.g. "Avengers: Infinity War"). Subscribe and like.
