A crash on Mitchell Freeway southbound that caused traffic to be backed up for nearly five kilometres on Friday morning has been cleared.
The incident occurred around 11.20am near the Warwick Road exit and blocked the left and centre lanes.

A Main Roads spokeswoman said at the time that traffic was at a stand-still back to Whitfords Avenue.
The crash was cleared at 12.30pm and traffic was flowing freely at 1pm.
