Four would-be burglars are on the run after trying to break into a home in Brisbane's south, with sticks among the weapons they were carrying.
About 2am on Sunday morning four men armed with sticks and knives tried to force their way into a Stones Road house in Sunnybank Hills.
The burglars damaged the home in the process and made demands for money, but fled empty-handed before police arrived.
No one was injured during the incident and investigations are continuing.
