Carrying on the Dylan dynasty: Bob Dylan's hunky grandson Levi opens up about his burgeoning fame as he stars on the cover of V Man, just weeks after modeling for Dolce & Gabbana

The next generation in the Dylan dynasty, 22-year-old Levi — the son of Wallflowers singer Jakob Dylan and grandson of legend Bob Dylan — has landed his first fashion magazine cover.

This month, Levi poses on the cover of V Man, the men's version of V Magazine, and talks about his career in the spotlight.

Mostly, though, it's his ambivalence about fame that takes center stage as he strikes hunky, brooding poses in leather jackets and man jewelry.

Levi started his career much like his dad and grandpa: playing music. But he gave up rock 'n roll to try his hand at acting and modeling.

Now, he's set to film a movie and a project for Netflix this year, and he's finding success in the fashion world. Most recently, he modeled Dolce & Gabbana's men's collection at Milan Fashion Week — but he's doesn't actually like the label 'model'.

'I get labeled as a model but, if I had it my way, I would hope nobody would ever call me that,' he said, despite being signed to Next Models.

He named Dennis Hopper as an inspiration and said he isn't interested in box office smashes

He also looks like quite a pro in the new V Man, which hits newsstands March 2. It may help that he felt comfortable in front of the camera, which was manned by his girlfriend, photographer Alana O'Herlihy. Alana also happens to be friends with Gigi and Bella Hadid.

Of course, it could be an act. Levi seems to have big plans for his acting career, and names Dennis Hopper as an inspiration. He said he has no plans to star in big blockbusters, though. 

'I don't have any interest in being in Warner Brothers' newest comedy if it's going to suck but still be a box office hit and make me famous. I want to do things that are cool and that I can be proud of,' he said.

In his interview, the moody progeny of Hollywood royalty also shared some behind-the-scenes gossip from his recent Fashion Week stint.

He revealed that his hotel room was next to the one where YouTube star and Netflix heartthrob Cameron Dallas was staying, and groupies hung outside at all hours of the night.

'I had a really hard time sleeping. Girls would stay outside his window from like 5AM to 3AM, take a two-hour break, then come back for more,' he said.
