The Certified 5-Star Airline Rating is the highest category quality ranking used to certify airline product and service standards, with this top status awarded to only nine airlines. The 5-Star Airlines in 2016 are Qatar Airways, Singapore Airlines, Cathay Pacific Airways, Asiana Airlines, Hainan Airlines, ANA All Nippon Airways, Garuda Indonesia, EVA Air and Etihad Airways. Awarded to airlines achieving the highest, overall Quality performance, this 5-Star Airline rating recognises the highest standards of Airport and Onboard Product provided by an airline to customers, together with consistent and high standards of front-line staff service across the airport and onboard service environments.
