Curiously entitled development in Clerkenwell.
Another odd name, Pardon Street.
Disused building, Eagle Court.
Clerkenwell Green, with the 1792 St James' church in the background.
The Jerusalem Tavern in Clerkenwell is named after the Priory of St. John of Jerusalem, and has close links with Samuel Johnson, William Hogarth, Oliver Goldsmith, David Garrick and Handel.
Steps to nowhere, St James' church.
Heading into central London, just past Holborn Viaduct, you can see this equestrian statue of Prince Albert doffing his hat the City.
Just behind the attractive timbered Staple Inn is this quiet courtyard.
