"My thoughts and prayers are with those young children at the moment," Ms Palaszczuk said.
"At the moment I want to ensure that those young children are getting all the support that they need following the tragic death of their mother."
Police are investigating but believe Mr Bradford killed his wife before taking his own life.

The 52-year-old was on bail at the time for deprivation of liberty, choking and suffocation, assaults occasioning bodily harm and domestic-violence related common assault charges.
Ms Palaszczuk did not say whether she would commit to tightening or reviewing bail laws.

"We will look at all of those options, but in the first instance we need to let the police undertake their thorough investigation in relation to this matter," she said.
"I firmly believe that we need to let the police do their thorough investigation. I'm happy that they look at all of those circumstances and all of those situations.
"I will say this - domestic and family violence in our state needs to stop.
"Now, we have trained magistrates, specialist domestic and family violence court is there with wraparound support services."
But she said she would have a discussion with Attorney-General Yvette D'Ath and Prevention of Domestic and Family Violence Minister Shannon Fentiman.
"I don't know the circumstances, I'm not going to preempt the police investigation," Ms Palaszczuk said.
"This is an absolute tragedy."
On Tuesday, Ms D'Ath ordered a briefing on the incident and the decision to release Mr Bradford on bail.
